Welcome! British Home Tutors (BHT) provides home tutoring in mainstream school subjects, along with advice on which schools to apply to and support with university applications.

Established back in 1996, our main focus has been to draw together a group of teachers from top private/independent schools to support pupils outside of school hours achieve their target exam grades.

Having had thirty years of experience in this field, we also provide a wide range of quality consultants who we can call upon for advice regarding schools and university applications. Many of our consultants have held senior roles at top academic schools such as Westminster, St Paul’s and Winchester.

We rely on word-of-mouth recommendations and do not advertise.  Families from both within the UK and overseas often seek our assistance to apply to UK schools. Families within the UK usually get in touch with us through the recommendation of other teachers and their child’s school.
